Villages where you can start the stage:Azevo, Faia
This stage starts in the village of Quinta Nova. The Route can be found 1,8km from there (non-signaled way).
Once in the Route, the path points down and proceeds through abandoned agricultural areas until reaching the Côa shores. Here, with the road EN221 nearby, there is an alternative track for mountain-biking and horse-riding, signaled in its limit points (identified as 'Desvio BTT/Equestre Quinta da Chinchela').
The Route continues along the left shore of the river until it reaches the mouth of the Ribª dos Gaiteiros 'Goats Brook', which is to be crossed (Spring and Summer). The path climbs up the hill until Quinta da Cotovia 'Farm of Lark', then tracing itself through agricultural and forest areas, all the way to the village of Azêvo. The access to the village is done through a non-signaled way.
The Route carries on through walled tracks and footpaths, crossing the place of Faia. The last part of the stage passes across farms and large rocky areas, until one finally arrives in the village of Cidadelhe.
